Nantucket is New England’s hidden gem of an island and is the perfect summer destination for those seeking a quintessential Americana retreat. Lake Champlain, Vermont

Lake Champlain’s 587 miles of shoreline has to be one of the most beautiful places to visit in Vermont. It’s the sixth-largest freshwater lake in the US and runs 400 feet deep, parts even reach into Quebec Canada.

There are many cities to post up at along the shores and a great one we recommend is Burlington, Vermont, the most populated city where something fun is always happening.

Bar Harbor, Maine

4.5-hours by car

The picturesque bayside town of Bar Harbor is known as the getaway to Acadia National Park which is home to the highest mountain point in the United States Cadillac Mountain. Wake up early to see the first sunrise in the country! Wildlife is plentiful with moose, bear, whales and seabirds making appearances on the regular. 

After a day on the trails head back to town for a lobster feast at the The Travelin Lobster washed down with Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale. 

Wild blueberries picking season in the park runs from mid-July through late September. Picking your own blueberries while enjoying the view will absolutely give you an appreciation for those you see on the store shelves at home.
