WHY JUST HAVE ONE HONEYMOON WHEN YOU CAN HAVE TWO?! 

A mini-moon is a quick 3 to 4 night trip after the wedding, a new trend for newlyweds as many couples still want to celebrate with some alone time after the celebrations with friends & families end but are waiting up to a full year to take the longer trip when finances are back in check after the big splurge of their wedding day or their schedules allows for a longer jaunt.

Below are some great places to stay, eat & experience while in Paris, the city of love!

WHERE TO STAY

Hotel Plaza Athenee

Here is our list of the best things to see & experience while in the city of love.

• Sit under the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower at night (best time to view!)
• Visit the Louvre later in the afternoon on a weekday, when chances are, you’ll find almost no line to get in
• Walk down Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe 
• Snack on savory crepes in the Luxembourg Gardens while checking out the beehive that has been producing honey since 1872!
• Stop by Sens Unique a perfumerie in The Marais district to shop for honeymoon scents to remember your trip by (we still use ours from 2017!)
• Dine at a Michelin star restaurant – save room for the cheese plate as dessert!
• Have pre-dinner rooftop drinks at the Terrass Hotel followed by a dinner cruise on the Seine River.
• Ride horses through the Grand Chateau in Chantilly France, about 1 hour outside of the city
• Indulge in decadent Parisian pastries & chocolates
• Take in panoramic views of the city on top of Montmartre from the white-domed Basilica of the Sacre-Coeur

TIPS FOR PACKING 

• Bring comfy shoes to walk in, Paris is a city best explored on foot
• Casual outfits are best for the day, a light shirt and sweater for when the sun goes down. We recommend at least one fancy pants dinner so make sure your hubby brings a dinner jacket (or your restaurant might have one to borrow)
